So, you have already taken a class and have the legal right to carry a deadly weapon. How much did you REALLY learn about the law and what your really allowed to do and HOW to do it? Did you do any actual shooting? Did you REALLY learn anything about how to properly use the gun (or other weapon) in a deadly panic filled confrontation with somebody that is intent on doing you immediate severe harm? Did you learn anything at all about other options to the gun? There are several and you should know about them and probably train on at least a few of them for various situations that come up in every day life. Did you learn anything at all about how to carry and access your weapon? Did you learn about how to safely store your weapon but still have ready access to it should you need it? Think back to your class, how long ago was it? Of the stuff that was taught to you, how much do you really remember? You have already taken a CCW class somewhere and have gotten your license, now please read over the information on our Concealed Carry class. If you did not learn everything there and go through the same or more training, you really owe it to yourself and your loved ones to get this training, either from us or another school that can train your brain how to handle things for you when it matters most. Remember, there is no second chance. There is no reset button on your body to magically bring you back to life when you mess this up. Remember, even trained police officers who see this every day and have lots of training often mess things up in the panic of the moment. What chance have you got if all you ever did was sit in a 2 hour lecture and maybe shoot a few rounds under the supervision of a friend that was in the Army once? It simply cannot be stressed enough. If you are going to carry a gun or other weapon it is 100% YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to learn to use it properly and responsibly. An untrained person with a gun is far more danger to themselves and their loved ones that they are to any bad guy. PLEASE LEARN WHAT YOU ARE DOING. From us or another school. If you are not willing to take some time to get some REAL training, then please, do us all a favor - Including Yourself! - unload the gun, store it safely and forget that you have it, or sell it. The last thing you want to do is make a mistake with it and end up giving it to the bad guy so he can use it on you - or you hurting yourself, or far worse, you hurting your child or spouse. If you already have your current and valid permit, include a copy of it with your application. Your fee will be $75 instead of the normal $100. This is exclusive of all other discounts.
